- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select "About This Mac".
In the window that is displayed:
- If your Mac is powered by Apple Silicon, you will see a field labeled "Chip", displaying a value such as "Apple M1", "Apple M2", etc.
- If your Mac is powered by an Intel processor, you will see a field labeled "Processor", displaying details such as "2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7".
